Nissaki:
One of the best known seaside resorts on Corfu which has been turned into one of the most popular beauty spots on the island is Nissaki. Despite the restaurants and the tourist development, the natural beauty of the landscape still retains its powerful charm and appeal. The variety of the scenery and views to Corfu Town are unbelievably beautiful. The emphasis here is definetely on relaxation. It is more likely that you will have the satisfaction of discovering for yourself some picturesque places or secluded coves where you can plunge into the saphire and emerald sea. Nissaki is connected with Corfu Town by suburban buses (15 miles) and daily boat service. Nissaki also has its own facilities. Here you can find a variety of supermarkets, bakery, tavernas with greek food, bars, gift shops and watersports including snorkel, waterski and paragliding.

Barbati:
Looking north from the coast road it is difficult not to be impressed by the panoramic view of Barbati bay. The beach is one of the most famous and biggest in Corfu. There are tavernas on the beach and several more dotted along the main road. The distinctive charm of this part of the island combines the beauty of the mountain and the sea, as your eyes sweep round over the sloping olive groves and out over the Ionian sea. Possibly more than anywhere else, the eye is immediately struck by the contrast between the green of the vegetation and the deep blue of the sea. Facilities here include water sports, supermarkets, swimming pools and gift shops.
